Su reputaci\u00f3n de mal perdedor lleg\u00f3 a o\u00eddos de quienes lo quer\u00edan contratar y fue suficiente para que desistieran de hacerlo. Le explicaron que uno es el mismo aunque est\u00e9 en entornos diferentes, y que por ello optaron por otra persona con una conducta m\u00e1s consistente y confiable. Le cost\u00f3 aceptarlo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A otro profesional, su fama de no ser muy trabajador ni dedicado le cost\u00f3 mucho en cuanto a empleabilidad. Trat\u00f3 de cambiar su imagen desde afuera, siguiendo ciertas pautas de conductas &#8216;aceptadas&#8217; y aprendi\u00f3 a &#8216;venderse&#8217; bien, pero no cambi\u00f3 realmente su forma de trabajar, ni se preocup\u00f3 por contribuir con el resultado o de generar logros. No cambi\u00f3 sus valores. Se olvid\u00f3 de que la imagen no es sino el reflejo de la actitud con la que escogemos vivir y que la verdad siempre se sabe. \u00a1A\u00fan sigue cambiando de trabajo, involuntariamente, cada dos o tres a\u00f1os!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un personaje p\u00fablico sinti\u00f3 que el poder que ostentaba lo pon\u00eda por encima de toda norma \u00e9tica v\u00e1lida para otros y que pod\u00eda actuar con impunidad sin que eso afectara su imagen o reputaci\u00f3n. Dej\u00f3 de lado su integridad, especialmente para con su familia, y se sinti\u00f3 por encima del bien y del mal. Crey\u00f3, con arrogancia, que pod\u00eda exhibir distintos valores seg\u00fan el \u00e1mbito o la situaci\u00f3n sin que nadie se diera cuenta. Se olvid\u00f3 de que la mala fama cruza sectores, \u00e1mbitos y trasciende \u00e9pocas, y que lo incorrecto siempre salta a la luz. Se sorprendi\u00f3 cuando empez\u00f3 a perder su prestigio, el respeto de sus amigos y el valor de su palabra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todos sabemos el esfuerzo y el tiempo que toman labrarse una buena reputaci\u00f3n, un buen nombre y, sobre todo, una palabra que vale y que es reconocida como seria. Ese prestigio personal abre puertas y genera credibilidad y confianza: es la base de la empleabilidad, del \u00e9xito en los negocios duraderos y socialmente responsables y de las relaciones personales en todo nivel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sabemos que la buena reputaci\u00f3n es siempre bien ganada, no acepta atajos, exige esfuerzo honesto y sacrificio. Y que el buen nombre se sostiene en el tiempo en base a integridad, \u00e9tica y valores fundamentales en todos los aspectos de la vida.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para mantener una buena reputaci\u00f3n no hay que ser infalible ni mucho menos un santo, pero si uno se equivoca, o lo hizo en el pasado, es importante rectificar y enmendar errores con humildad, autenticidad y una franca actitud de aprendizaje. El trabajo serio y muy profesional, la honestidad a prueba de balas, el estricto respeto a nuestra palabra y la integridad de nuestros actos en todos los \u00e1mbitos en los que nos movemos son el \u00fanico camino para lograr una buena reputaci\u00f3n en el tiempo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A nadie le gusta enterarse de que no goza de buena reputaci\u00f3n: vale la pena sondearla de cuando en cuando y, sobre todo, \u00a1asegurarse de merecerla! Siempre es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil culpar a los dem\u00e1s de ser celosos, ego\u00edstas o envidiosos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Obviamente, uno no le puede caer bien a todas las personas ni podemos esperar que todos nos aprecien como sentimos que merecemos, pero la responsabilidad de una buena reputaci\u00f3n es nuestra y de nadie m\u00e1s.
