{"id":733,"date":"2011-04-19T03:12:43","date_gmt":"2011-04-19T03:12:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hashtag.pe\/itemple\/?p=733"},"modified":"2011-04-19T03:12:43","modified_gmt":"2011-04-19T03:12:43","slug":"discriminacion-por-edad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/inestemple.com\/es\/2011\/04\/discriminacion-por-edad\/","title":{"rendered":"Discriminaci\u00f3n por edad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En la misi\u00f3n de ayudar a recolocarse a personas que perdieron sus trabajos, pocas cosas son m\u00e1s frustrantes que chocar con la pared de los prejuicios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-734\" title=\"Discriminacion por edad\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/InesTemple.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Discriminacion-por-edad.jpg\" width=\"520\" height=\"176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inestemple.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Discriminacion-por-edad.jpg 520w, https:\/\/inestemple.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Discriminacion-por-edad-300x102.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hablo de prejuicios que llevan a empresas modernas, muchas de ellas socialmente responsables, cuidadosas del clima laboral y por dem\u00e1s estrictas cumplidoras de leyes y normas, a decidir a priori que las personas son o no contratables dependiendo de su edad.<\/p>\n<p>Es justo decir que cualquier organizaci\u00f3n tiene derecho a definir los perfiles de las personas que necesita contratar, y que la definici\u00f3n de esos perfiles muchas veces responde a criterios t\u00e9cnicos vinculados con la experiencia, habilidades y caracter\u00edsticas estimadas para un mejor encaje con el equipo. Sin embargo, y siendo todo lo anterior v\u00e1lido, muchos procesos de selecci\u00f3n de personal est\u00e1n condicionados por ideas preconcebidas sobre el probable \u00e9xito de una persona en el desempe\u00f1o de su trabajo dependiendo de si tiene m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os, m\u00e1s de 50 o de si todav\u00eda no tiene 30.<\/p>\n<p>Y, as\u00ed, las organizaciones establecen barreras discriminatorias a personas que pese a cumplir los requisitos, no cumplen la edad m\u00e1xima o m\u00ednima (seg\u00fan sea el caso) establecida para la posici\u00f3n. Los prejuicios llevan a las empresas a no considerar siquiera entrevistar a personas fuera de la edad requerida, y esos prejuicios, como tales, no tienen ning\u00fan criterio t\u00e9cnico que los sustente.<\/p>\n<p>Ciertamente cuando las personas no tienen el nivel de empleabilidad requerida o carecen de competencias relevantes, son esas mismas limitaciones las que las sacan de la competencia. Pero es grave que personas capaces, empleables y con gran disposici\u00f3n de aprendizaje sean discriminadas impunemente solo por su edad.<\/p>\n<p>Cu\u00e1ntas veces hemos logrado tras mucha insistencia y apelando a estos argumentos que entrevisten a alguien &#8216;fuera de edad&#8217;, para que luego la descubrieran como la persona ideal para la posici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Hago un llamado a reclutadores, expertos en recursos humanos y especialmente a la alta direcci\u00f3n de las organizaciones para que eval\u00faen flexibilizar sus pol\u00edticas de contrataci\u00f3n y eliminar la discriminaci\u00f3n por edad.<\/p>\n<p>No desperdiciemos el talento que tanto se necesita en nuestro pa\u00eds en estos tiempos de crecimiento y tambi\u00e9n de gran incertidumbre, por mantener estos paradigmas restrictivos y limitantes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente: El Comercio \/ Econom\u00eda \/ 19-04-2011<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En la misi\u00f3n de ayudar a recolocarse a personas que perdieron sus trabajos, pocas cosas son [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[27,14,58],"media":[],"class_list":["post-733","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-articulos","tag-confianza","tag-empleabilidad-en","tag-entrevista-de-trabajo"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.6 -
